ADVENTURE CAMP 1, CANOE CAMP, GRADES 7-12

Paddle the beautiful West Branch of the Susquehanna River with us this summer!  We begin our journey in Shawville PA and paddle about 70 miles to Hyner PA.  During our trip, experience God’s beautiful creation and learn to be a hero in your own community and in your own church through thoughtful, relevant Bible studies!  Plus, there’s always plenty of fun and friendships that are sure to last a lifetime.  Hope to see you on the Susquehanna this summer!  By the end, you’re guaranteed to be a hero on the river as well!  Good swimming ability is REQUIRED. Previous canoe experience NOT necessary; learn as we go! Campers arrive at Shawville UMC on Sunday, June 10, between 4-5 PM. Our takeout will take place at Hyner Bridge (access) about 4 PM on Friday, June 15.
